VICIOUS ART Cancel Swedish Gig, Announce Norwegian Appearance
April 19, 2005VICIOUS ART, the new Swedish death/thrash band featuring former DARK FUNERAL members Matias Mäkelä and Robert Lundin, along with Jörgen Sandström (THE PROJECT HATE, ex-ENTOMBED, GRAVE) on bass, were forced to cancel ther previously announced show in Västerås, Sweden after "Jörgen got stomache sick and couldnt get out of bed without almost shit[ting] himself," according to a post on the group's web site. "The rest of the band stayed home and got drunk instead. We hope that we will get a second chance from M.I.N.D and come back to slay Västerås another time!!"
In other news, VICIOUS ART have announced their first appearance outside Sweden. "[On] 14th of May we will head to Hamar, Norway to play one show at their infamous club Grotta!" the band write. "This will be an event none shall miss! On the same night, local heroes WYRUS will play as well! After having to cancel Västerås, this is what we really look forward to now!"
